Your trimester grade will consist of:
40% Tests
30% Labs, Quizzes and PhysicsQuests
20% Class Work
10% Homework
IV. OTHER POLICIES
MAKE-UP WORK
§ The school's policies will be strictly enforced.
§ Students are responsible for making-up all missed work and
arranging for missed quizzes and/or tests.
I. MATERIALS:

- Equation sheet,
- Mechanical pencil, eraser, ruler and graphing calculator
II. ASSIGNMENTS:

The school's Honor Code is in effect for the following assignments:
TESTS
§ Tests will cover each chapter of material including reading assignments,
lab activities and classroom discussion.
§ Test reviews will be graded as 20% of the final test score
§ All work must be shown. Partial credit may be awarded for solutions
that are partially correct.
QUIZZES
§ Quizzes may or may not be announced
§ Quizzes may contain questions and/or problems from the reading
assignments and/or based on recently covered or previously learned material.
PhysicsQuests
§ All PhysicsQuest must be typed.
§ Late PhysicsQuests will NOT be accepted.
LABS
§ Labs are performed in groups for data collection purposes.
§ Your lab report should be the result of cooperative effort.
HOMEWORK
§ Homework will be graded on the basis of completeness.
§ It is OK to work in groups for homework. It is not OK to copy homework from a classmate.
§ All work must be shown. If you do not know how to solve a problem you have to
demonstrate that you tried to solve it.
§ Homework assignments will be collected the day before the Chapter test.
§ However, you are encouraged to hand-in your homework the day that it is due.
§ Students that hand-in ALL homework assignments by the due date during a grading
period will receive extra credit.
